Tamara Henderson

Tamara is Bloomberg’s economist for Southeast Asia. She has been a professional economist since 1986, covering the mature economies and emerging markets of Europe and Asia. Tamara focused on currency and fixed income strategy between 2002 and 2014.
In previous roles, Tamara was deputy head of the International Monetary Fund’s Investment Unit in Washington, DC. She worked as an economist for Citigroup in London and was head of Asian currency and rates strategy for ANZ Banking Group in Singapore.
Tamara has MA and PhD degrees in Economics from Claremont Graduate University (USA) and a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia (USA). She is also a CFA Charterholder and the author of Fixed Income Strategy: A Practitioner’s Guide to Riding the Curve, published by Wiley.
