TERMS AND CONDITIONS BLOOMBERG BUSINESSWEEK VIETNAM’S EVENT
1. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
The Event is open to all customers with full civil capacity. By participating in the promotion, each participant confirms and ensures that they meet all the conditions necessary to enter into a binding agreement as stated in these Terms and Conditions.
Access to the Event area is strictly limited to successfully registered members (Attendees).
Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse entry to or to remove from the event any Attendee whom we reasonably suspect to have violated or infringed any of these Terms and Conditions.
2. TICKETS TO THE EVENT
2.1. Event Attendance Tickets
Event tickets are issued in the form of e-tickets and will be sent to each attendee’s email. Each ticket is valid for 01 (one) attendee and can only be used to register for the event once. Attendees are responsible for the security of their ticket information. Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam will not resolve/be responsible for cases where event ticket information is disclosed.
Attendees must present identification at the event for verification purposes by Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam. The attendee’s information must match the details on the registered and confirmed ticket.
2.2. Ticket Price
The ticket price includes all applicable taxes according to current regulations and delivery charges (if any).
In case the ticket benefits include gifts related to the subscription package of Phat trien Xanh – Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam, the terms and conditions of the subscription package will apply. Please refer here.
Gifts and benefits included with the ticket cannot be converted into cash and do not have a value that can be deducted from the ticket price, even if the purchaser refuses to accept these benefits.
Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam reserves the right to adjust ticket prices at any time, depending on promotions during each period. These price changes will not affect confirmed registrations.
2.3. Booking Confirmation
Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam will confirm and issue e-tickets for event attendance within 02 (two) working days after successfully receiving payment for the order.
E-tickets will be sent to customers via email according to initial registration information.
If attendees do not receive booking confirmation within this timeframe, please contact Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam for feedback and clarification.
2.4. Refund
Issued tickets will not be refunded.
2.5. Individual tickets and Group tickets
For individual tickets: Each individual ticket is only available for 01 (one) attendee based on the initial registration information and confirmed by Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam.
For group registration tickets: Registrants must provide and confirm information of all attendees in the group to Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam no later than 05 (five) days before the event takes place. In the event that attendee information is not confirmed on time, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam reserves the right to refuse participation even if attendees present tickets at the event.
2.6. Reservation and Transfer
Event tickets that have been confirmed and issued are specific to each event and cannot be reserved or transferred to other events hosted by Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam.
In case attendees request to transfer tickets/change attendee information, they must send a notification along with transferee information to Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam no later than 10 (ten) days before the event date. This transfer/change of information can only be done once.
3. CHANGE
Except for the event program (agenda) that has been set, other factors such as time, venue, content, speakers,… may be subject to change in special cases. In the event of any significant changes, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam will regularly update on the event information page on the Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam website.
In case of force majeure, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam may cancel or postpone a ticketed event. Ticket buyers will be notified, and their rights will be preserved and converted to equivalent benefits for another subsequent event hosted by Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam. Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by event cancellation or postponement.
4. CODE OF CONDUCT AT EVENT
With the code of conduct at events, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam aims to uphold the highest standards of professionalism. Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam is committed to creating open and respectful exchange spaces, where all attendees can discuss important topics related to global economics, business, finance, and technology.
- Event attendees must truthfully and transparently declare their name, title, company and business sector in all interactions with fellow participants throughout the event.
- Attendees must dress in polite, formal attire that aligns with the standards and quality of the event.
- Attendees are expected to behave professionally, civilly, and courteously, following Vietnamese customs, traditions, and current laws.
- Behaviors that are deemed inappropriate, disrespectful, extreme, disruptive, or harassing towards others are grounds for removal from the event.
- Attendees are not allowed to livestream while the event is taking place to avoid affecting the quality of the event.
- Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is completely prohibited at Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam events.
This code of conduct applies to all events and may be amended at any time without negotiation.
5. IMAGES USAGE
By participating in the Event, attendees agree to grant Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam the right to use images of the attendees at the event and/or content provided by the attendees for advertising, commercial, and/or communication purposes on Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam’s platforms without prior notification to the attendees and without any compensation.
Attendees may record videos, audio, and take photographs at the event for personal use. However, attendees are not permitted to use recordings, photographs, or videos for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam.
6. SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
To ensure the rights and privacy of individuals attending the event, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam commits to implementing the following measures to secure the personal information of event attendees:
- Personal information of the event attendees will be used to organize the event and will be stored for the necessary period.
- Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam will apply technical and security measures to protect the personal information of event attendees from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
7. EXCEPTIONS
- Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam is not responsible or legally obligated for any viewpoints or content presented by speakers or guests at the event.
- In cases of force majeure such as natural disasters, fires, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond control, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam will not be responsible for any losses or damages incurred by individuals attending the event.
- If individuals attending the event intentionally or unintentionally cause loss or damage to themselves or others, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam will not be responsible for such losses or damages.
- In the case of technical issues at the event venue, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam will attempt to rectify the situation as soon as possible. However, if the technical issue cannot be resolved quickly, Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam will not be responsible for any losses or damages incurred by individuals attending the event.
8. OTHER TERMS
These Terms and Conditions take effect from January 1, 2024.
Bloomberg Businessweek Vietnam reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
